此件唐卡即为织锦堆绫形式制作。此技法在藏传佛教用品中应用极广，以垫高所绣人物图案，形成高绣的立体视觉效果。本品以蓝缎为地，采用漳绒，杏黄，深蓝，月白色缎等织物按画稿纹样剪裁成各式绫片，贴堆成释迦牟尼像。用料名贵，做工精湛，设色于浓淡之间又显沈稳肃穆，为不可多得的唐卡佳作。
