Pork stone is a kind of natural stone, most of which belong to sedimentary rocks, siliceous rocks or metamorphic rocks. It is formed by contacting with other minerals during geological movement. Carcass stone is precious in the skin. There are many red-and-white stones in the world, but only when the skin is full and fat can they be considered as the top grade of the carcass stones.
Pork stone is formed by the contact of sedimentary rocks or metamorphic rocks with other minerals in the course of geological movement. It is mostly produced in Liuzhou City, Guangxi. Because of its "skin meat", "fat meat" and "lean meat" multi-level, the color resembles pork, known as "pork stone".
Collectors often regard "pork stone" as a symbol of auspiciousness and festivity. Nowadays, the skin resources are basically exhausted. There are many kinds of pork stones. Anhui has a collector who has a pork stone comparable to the Dongpo pork stone of Taipei Museum. It has high collection value.
