張大千，生於1899年，四川內江人，早年留學日本，歸國後在上海拜曾熙、李瑞清為師。張大千先生在二十世紀中國畫壇中影響巨大，是最為傳奇的國畫大師，由於其技法獨到，創立了名聞的大風堂畫派，俗稱“大千畫派”。而仕女畫是張大千繪畫作品中的壹個重要部分，其成就很少有人能超越。他筆下的仕女既有古代仕女畫的遺風，又有著時代氣息，姿態風韻、頗有個性。

Zhang Daqian was born in 1899 in Neijiang, Sichuan Province. He studied in Japan in his early years. After returning home, he visited Zengxi and Li Ruiqing as teachers in Shanghai. Mr. Zhang Daqian, the most legendary master of Chinese painting in the twentieth century, has a great influence in the field of Chinese painting. Because of his unique techniques, he founded the famous Dafengtang Painting School, commonly known as the "Daqian Painting School". The painting of ladies is an important part of Zhang Daqian's paintings, and few of them can surpass it. The ladies in his works are not only the legacy of the ancient ladies'paintings, but also the flavor of the times, with charm and personality.
